Gua Charas ialah sebuah gua batu kapur yang terletak di Bukit Charas, kira-kira 25 kilometer barat laut Kuantan, Pahang. Gua ini mempunyai kepentingan agama bagi penganut Hindu dan Buddha, menempatkan patung Buddha berbaring sepanjang 30 kaki serta simbol Jala Lingam yang mewakili Dewa Shiva.
Pengunjung perlu mendaki tangga setinggi 20 kaki untuk mencapai pintu masuk gua. Di dalamnya, selain patung Buddha berbaring, terdapat formasi batu kapur yang menarik.
Gua Charas menawarkan pengalaman unik yang menggabungkan keindahan semula jadi dengan elemen keagamaan, menjadikannya destinasi menarik bagi pelawat yang mencari ketenangan dan refleksi rohani.

in the last weekWorth a short stopover if you are on the way into or out of Sungai Lembing. The cave is a short and steep climb from ground level - quite big and deep with some interesting natural features. Was told by the locals if you can spot the white snake it will be of immense luck - but the chances are tiny! Remember to pay for carpark to the uncle on the ground level.

in the last weekCharas Cave does not belong to a temple or any house of worship. It is a limestone cave recreation area that is the absolute property of the State Government & the collective rights of the people. Unfortunately, there is encroachment & construction of illegal places of worship* which have still not been vacated despite the Public Land Vacancy Notice - Section 425 of the KTN which was issued 11 months ago.

a week agoIt's a really good place to visit a Hindu temple and a buddha temple in the caves. Not too high to climb. But the upkeeping is really bad. Beer cans everywhere. I'm really upset by that. And the priests smoke in the temple. It's quite sad to see this. Thought of giving it there stars, but two should suffice.
