in the last weekFirst time i went to this shop was in 2014, since then the quality and service is going downhill like so bad, in latest visit the experience was horrible, we sat at a only clean table, but all the tables surrounded us were full of piles of dirty plate, and leftovers, flies and later on cat started to haul the scraps, it took at least an hr for them to clean the piles, not much fish choices, though it were fresh, but the preparation was very mediocre, ikan bakar left with alot scales, squid was not crispy and not covered with floor, and bamboo clams were not fresh, even the cuttleries were not clean, still covered with scraps from previous use, and its pricey but thats fine, their food their price but all this unhygenic service was degratory . . . they like taken for granted since still drawing huge crowd

in the last weekOrdered grilled petai, fried mushrooms, squid and kailan. All delicious except for the GRILLED PETAI FISH. He really grilled the stingray until it was charred from top to bottom.. the sambal was dry and bitter, some of the petai was burnt.. the fish filling was dry and burnt.. the banana leaves were charred and stuck to the fish until it was impossible to separate. Had to eat because I was hungry.. biting the charred petai and biting the charred banana leaves. When the fish arrived, I asked the staff if the fish was charred but they replied "not charred, that's how it is" with a smile. It really hurt. We came quite early, there weren't many customers yet, but what was so crazy about grilling the fish until it was charred. To the fish griller, the people grilling the fish use coals, not hot fire! The charred stingray alone was already RM40.. that's pretty good!
