a month agoI'm absolutely thrilled with this place! It's undeniably one of Kuantan's top Malay seafood restaurants. The fresh seafood is phenomenal, you pick it and they cook it right there! Knowing they have their own fishing boats for local distribution makes all the difference! This main branch is truly the best among those with the same name. Plus, they offer fantastic local Kuantan delicacies and an extensive drink selection. So good!

4 months agoThe seafood was fresh. The grilled fish was spicier than i expected. I've had better though. Place was crowded on a Saturday night but plenty of tables so no need to wait. Service was a bit slow but i suppose that was to be expected. It's within walking distance from the Swiss Belhotel so good to walk instead of drive if you stay there - you'll need the little workout after getting your tummy full. Ample street lighting so quite safe.

4 months agoThis is my 2nd time here, and honestly the food tastes even better than the 1st visit! + Signature dish ikan bakar petai is just awesome! We tried pari bakar and it was perfect. + Seafood are fresh, and the price tags are still affordable. + Premise is clean, with friendly staff. - Parking can be a havoc & difficult to find during peak dinner time.

4 months agoWe went on Thursday and believe not such a big crowd so seafood lesser and not the freshest! Prawns are farmed & they removed the heads already on the raw table for sale. So perhaps not so fresh. We skipped that. Grouper was v good and fresh with bakar sambal petai! V tasty! 665g xRM7. 50 =Rm49👍 Squid was disappointing as came battered deep fried flour (we don't like salted egg) n felt like tasteless fried rubber bands. We should have just bakar. Kangkong was v good! Crowd startedstreaming in at 8pm!

6 months agoFamous spot in Kuantan but food was just okay. Service was slow, we ordered 5 dishes and 2 of them came very late. Also asked for a small bowl but the waiter never came back.
