Bukit ini terkenal sebagai lokasi terbaik untuk menyaksikan keindahan matahari terbit sambil menikmati suasana pagi yang segar dan mendamaikan. Went here for a rainbow waterfall trip. But before reaching there, here is the first checkpoint stop to witness a sunrise view. The hill is spacious, clean and safe. It can fit a lot of car and pickup truck at one time as well as the people. There is also observation point and a big signage. The view of the sunrise is just stunning. Hope can see this view everyday. Would recommend everyone to visit here. Totally worth it

Great point at sungai lembing to see sunrise and sea of clouds. The view of green forest, cloud and sun is simply amazing. This is main attraction at sungia lembing. I did a sunrise tour at 8am which is also good which I can see more under the sun light. Is equally breath taking.

On our 4x4 journey from Sungai Lembing town to Rainbow Waterfall, Sunrise Hill was our first and most breathtaking stop. The ride up was an adventure in itself — bumpy jungle tracks, cool pre-dawn air, and the faint promise of daylight creeping into the sky. When we arrived, the view took our breath away. The bold red “SUNRISE HILL” sign stood proudly, but beyond it was the real magic — a sea of clouds, the famous awan karpet, stretching endlessly like a soft white ocean rolling over the hills. The morning sun began to rise, spilling golden light over the mist, turning the whole scene into something straight out of a dream. It wasn’t just a stop to stretch our legs; it was a pause to truly appreciate the splendour of Allah’s creation. The stillness, the shifting colours of the sky, the cool air on our faces — everything felt perfectly in sync. From there, we continued towards Rainbow Waterfall, but that vision of the awan karpet at Sunrise Hill stayed etched in my mind — a reminder that sometimes the journey gifts you with moments just as beautiful as the destination.

hopped on a 4x4 to go up the start point of the rainbow waterfall trail and took a pit stop here to catch the sunrise. Unfortunately, it was quite cloudy that day so it really depends on luck. Nevertheless, the view was panoramic and breathetaking while the cool early morning freeze was refreshing.

This was the first destination and pit stop of our Rainbow Waterfall package. But you need to get your timing perfectly adjusted to the exact sunrise, failing which, you would just have to enjoy the views. Which are quite spectacular, to say the least... After getting up at 3:30 am from our hotel in Indera Mahkota, driving for 30 minutes with the foggy windscreen of a car to Sungai Lembing town, stopping by at the Anjung Selera to wait for the tour operator to arrive, saying my Fajar prayer in the surprisingly unisex prayer hall...I was already game for whatever came next. So, as soon as the pickup trucks started moving, I was all set, riding shotgun with the friendly driver Eddy, who was actually a police sargent attached to the CID of the Kuantan District. A stopover at the Sunrise Hill at 7:30 am was all but brief, as obviously the sunrise experience had passed us over, more than an hour ago... Hence, these photos were all that we had to show for...
