2 months agoIf your aim is to bring kid to playground then this is not the place. If you want to enjoy river view or tower then do come. Else, better find somewhere else as playground here are not maintained at all. No slide for your kid to play.

9 months agoA clean and beautiful esplanade, perfect for a relaxing afternoon stroll. Shaded by plenty of trees, it offers a cool escape from the sun. Popular with locals, especially those who enjoy fishing at the designated spots along the way.

a year agoA relaxing walk along the river, great for winding down at the end of the day. There are a few bikes and wheels here for rent. The pathway also leads you directly to the base of the 188 tower

a year agoEsplanade Kuantan is a lovely spot for both locals and tourists, offering a peaceful riverside atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxation. The well-maintained walkway along the river allows you to take a leisurely stroll while enjoying the scenic views of the Kuantan River. It’s also a great place for families, with seating areas and nearby food stalls offering local delights. However, it can get a bit crowded during the evenings, especially on weekends. One of the most charming aspects of the area is the nearby street art. The vibrant murals and creative artwork scattered throughout the streets near the Esplanade add a touch of color and culture to the city. These pieces showcase local talent, often depicting traditional scenes, modern themes, or aspects of daily life in Kuantan. It’s an Instagram-worthy spot that offers visitors a unique glimpse into the local culture. While you’re in the area, I highly recommend dining at Udang Celup. Their seabass celup tepung Restaurant is incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and delicious, all at a very affordable price. The portion size is generous, and the seafood quality is top-notch. It’s one of the best dishes I’ve had in Kuantan, and the casual atmosphere and friendly service only add to the experience. If you're a seafood lover, this place is a must-visit! Whether you're strolling along the Esplanade, admiring the street art, or enjoying a great meal at Udang Celup, Kuantan offers a blend of natural beauty, culture, and fantastic food.

a month agoWent here multiple times with my kids. The playground is, in my opinion, in very good condition. There are actually two playgrounds — the one near the tower seems poorly maintained, so I’m referring to the playground closer to McDonald’s, which is much better. However, there is one thing that really bothers me. There is a vendor selling bubbles and kids’ toys set up right beside the slide. There is plenty of space around the playground where they could set up, but placing the stall so close to the slide is totally unacceptable. Many kids get distracted by the toys, and some parents end up feeling very frustrated because their children start crying when they can’t buy anything. I’m not even sure if these vendors are officially allowed to operate there. I really hope MPK can monitor and regulate these activities better.
