Kuantan Sentral Hotel

The stay here is worthy based on price and location. It is located strategically in the town centre near the attraction especially during the night. Near to the Grand Mosque. The surrounding area comfy but considering it near the people attraction and hang out pkace so it is not too quiet. Near to Kuantan river and the view of the river is outstanding. Please ask from the hotel to get a room with river view. The parking is available for guests. Public parking with charges also have but almost impossible to get on a peak hours. Room is clean but quite small in term of space. Breakfast is great with several choices of menu. Reasonable with the price you pay.

1. The bathroom floor is too slippery when wet. I almost fell off. 2. Parking is on open area no shade but guarded. You can also parked by the road side 3. Room is big and spacious. But the wall outlet plug is too far from the bed. If you want to charge up ur device. Need to leave it far from you. 4. Breakfast not so many variation. For the taste it is average nothing extra. Hotel Sentral Kuantan: Stayed at Hotel Sentral Kuantan for a short trip. Location is convenient, and it’s easy to get around Kuantan from here. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff were generally polite and helpful. The room was acceptable and functional—basic amenities provided, but don’t expect anything luxurious. Cleanliness was okay overall, though a few areas could be improved and the place feels slightly dated. WiFi worked but can be inconsistent depending on the room. Overall, decent value for a simple stay if your priority is location and practicality rather than premium comfort.

I stayed here with my wife twice in November on our Kuantan business trip. We stayed at the King Deluxe Room River View floor 6 on our 1st trip & we were upgraded from Queen Room to Family Room City View floor 2 on our second trip. Both trips the rooms were good and clean. All air cond and lighting working properly. They served reasonably good breakfast too for the price we pay. The river view is nice. The city view is not bad too. Free Guest Parking available behind the hotel next to the river walkway. Located just next to the Kuantan Tower 188. There is a nice walkway along the river to jog or stroll in the morning or at night. Close & walking distance to many nice Cafes. Night Market & Street Art just accross the main road. Night market only on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Street Art can visit every day. There is also a nice Roof top cafe serving good food at reasonable price with great view. Good value hotel if you want someting quick and easy and do not need to drive to go out to dinner after a tiring day at work.

The hotel located near to Kuantan Tower, far not more than 200m. Also, this hotel situated next to river. You can have a morning walk or night walk at the river side. This hotel provides parking for guest, convenient to guest so no need to go round and round looking for parking. Nearby this hotel is Kuantan old street. Mural Street art located nearby this hotel, just reach those places by just walk. Location is convenient to guest who want to enjoy the feel of staying at Kuantan old street. We have a high floor room but the view is not face to river side. The room is clean and spacious. Surrounding also quiet, not so noisy. Breakfast provided also satisfied. They serve Malaysian style breakfast such as Nasi Lemak, Mee Kari etc. Would visit again next time.
