The Zenith Kuantan

We are regulars at Zenith both for holidays & work. The hotel has been offering consistent service & cleanliness. The location is strategic & convenient. There is an EV charging station available so we just left our car for charging overnight without hassle. We also chillax at the cafe. The honey lemon drink & rose chrysanthemum tea we ordered were impressive with the perfect amount of honey & aroma that soothed our palates. It was indeed a pleasant stay.

The room isn't well maintained. The sink was almost completely blocked. Took forever for it to drain. There are bed bugs. I woke up with rashes over my right thigh. Hair dryer wasn't working. The carpet was not cleaned properly. I could see long hair strands. The room had a musty odour as well. This is not a 5* quality hotel. At the very best its only 3* and I'm being generous. The management must strive to maintain the quality of the hotel and service. Only thing I liked is its proximity to East Coast and Kuantan City Malls

Very disappointing room service experience. I was waitlisted five times just to place a food order, and room service did not pick up my calls despite repeated attempts. When I contacted Guest Services to report this, room service suddenly called me back within less than a minute, making it obvious that the calls were being ignored earlier. What made the experience worse was breakfast. I ordered a Continental Breakfast (RM58), which according to the menu includes an “assorted bakery basket.” However, what arrived was only two slices of bread and two small muffins, there was clearly no “bakery basket” as described. I had to call room service again to clarify this. My call was passed between staff, and eventually to someone named Fatin. I switched to Bahasa Malaysia to avoid any language issues and asked why the bakery basket was missing. I was put on hold again, and later told that “they are still baking the bread.” This raised a serious concern does this mean if I had not called, the missing items would simply not be delivered? There was no clear explanation or reassurance given. Overall, this reflects poor communication, lack of transparency, and unacceptable service standards for a hotel of this level.

Nice place to stay in Kuantan. The room is nice and big, internet here is fast and reliable. Didn’t like the view I’m getting (next building view) and the corridor (without a/c). Breakfast is quite nice here. Location is very good and parking is easy to find. Overall, good. Price is also reasonable. Would say, I’d recommend this hotel.

offers spacious rooms and easy parking. The staff are kind and helpful.The breakfast is truly the best part! There is a wide variety of food and drinks, including the best Teh Tarik I've found in Kuantan. Plenty of seating is available, and waiters clear tables quickly. Area for improvement: The chicken in the Ayam Masak Merah was still raw,a significant issue that needs immediate attention.
