Royale Chullan Villas Cherating

We have stayed at this chalet many times — probably our 5th or 6th visit within the past two years. It is one of the cleanest and freshest-looking chaket in Cherating, and the rate was very reasonable. The surroundings are clean and peaceful, and the room is comfortable. Although the room may look slightly dated, it is still well-maintained and perfectly fine. Breakfast was good even though the variety was limited. However, the cereal quality could be improved, as it tasted quite cheap — even my son cant finish the cereal because the taste was terrible. We hope this can be improved in the future. Check-in and check-out processes were smooth and hassle-free. The restaurant staff during breakfast were very friendly and attentive. The beach is absolutely amazing — we could easily spend the whole day there from morning until evening. We will definitely come back again someday, and hopefully there will be a special gift or recognition for regular guests.

Me and wifey love to come over to Cherating. And almost every time we would stay here. We like it here as it feels comfy and homely. The staffs are nice and courteous. The beach here is like our own private beach, thankfully it’s clean. As is the property too. There are shops and cafes you can walk to nearby. One thing I would hope is that the management look into refurbishing as some parts, areas and items in the room looks dated. All in all, a nice resort to stay in.

I can say this hotel is a heaven for the surfers. But we’re here for a family day. The hotel very accommodative to make sure thw rooms assigned at a lower level since almost of my group are mostly senior citizen. Only few rooms at second level. We booked for 12 rooms all together. The breakfast is simple and foods are ok. Teh tarik is the star . The staff also very accommodative as we want to capture our moments here and they helps us to take a few group photos. Really appreciate that and we had a great time there and try out surfing there too.

Mulanya agak sedikit kecewa sebab requested room under renovation and none of the staffs inform me eventhough i put remarks in the email or when i made an advance call to double check my reservation. So i have been located to another room but there was an event in the next room so i have to keep my curtain closed most of the time. But im trying to be positive, the warmth service from staffs reduce the disappointment. Everyone was super friendly and kind, feel like one big family. All staffs are locals and i love supporting our local friends because interaction they made make me feel like i was back in my kampung. Hotel has an app where you can chat with the staffs directly. Introverts love these. Hotel landscape was maintained beautifully, great for morning walk. The beach was magnificent. It was clean and clear water. There is no direct sunrise or sunset here to see but that also means great to spend time on beach because it was not that hot and sunny. The waves was not really strong, safe for kids. Room was clean, tidy with some juices provided in the fridge. The toiletries shower gel and body lotion smells so good. Water pressure was strong. There's only one thing turned down, it was the pillows. The pillows made my neck hurts next day. They should change the pillows to better ones. Breakfast buffet was a lot of varieties. Foods are great only that sambal nasi lemak and curry mee a little salty. Fruits served was all fresh and sweet. Macaroni was delicious and drinks was nice too. Lastly, hopefully can visit this hotel again next time. Keep it up management team!

Been here for family vacation during 18-19Oct. What I can say - great hospitality! The staffs were so good, friendly and helpful. Even through our car. Need to be parked downhill at the guardhouse area, the good side is their buggies operates 24h, so no worries to commute from outside to inside the resort. Food were awsome! Their pulut kuning and rendang daging served during breakfast was perfectly cooked and so nostalgic! Our room - Ocean Suit 308. But the bed is not superking bed size, just normal king size I guess. Complimentary food - keropok! That’s the main highlight for visiting pantai timur 🩵 Awsome experience. Will come again next time!!
