a month agoVisited on 22nd December 2025. Very good experience. Can visit if want to know more about Sg. LEMBING history. Sadly the souvenir shop is closed. The souvenir shop is the only place you can get Sg. Lembing related gifts, souvenir and memorable items. On 2018 and 2019 visited able to get cool Mining helmet keychain. Sg.Lembing Tshirts.

6 months agoThis museum was quite small- but it really holds the big scale information you can get around Sungai Lembing. Well-maintained old building with modern installations (e.g air conditioners) for the comfort. There are many sections from the ground floor to the first floor as this building is two storeys. Great for school trip and for historians in making.

11 months agoIt’s an old small museum about mining tin ore. We went on a weekday and there weren’t many visitors. The tunnel was closed so we didn’t get to see that. We only got to see the 2 floors of the museum which took less than an hour to see everything. The museum and bathroom were well kept. There weren’t many stores or restaurants open in the small town. I would recommend to bring your own food or snacks.

11 months agoWe paid RM2 for the entrance tickets (RM1 for senior citizens). As noted by other reviews, there is a steep walk up to the museum building, which was the house of the tin mine manager in the past. Ground floor exhibits are mainly historical pictures of Sungai Lembing. First floor has other exhibits about tin-mining. The exhibits outside explained more about how they did tin-mining in the past. Overall it was an educational experience and we appreciate the hard work of tin miners in the past. We saw hornbills on the trees outside as well. Highly recommended.
